Absolutely! In 2022 60% of people who visited the Maldives were adult couples, often celebrating their honeymoon. Although many resorts are adapting to the growing demand of child and family friendly resorts, there are still some resorts that are adult only or adult only in part.

There are other resorts which are aimed at adults, although they do allow children. At these resorts, there are no family rooms and they are without kids’ clubs or activities aimed at children. Therefore, they are likely to have fewer children on the island, if any.
