Due to the island's close proximity to Malé, speedboat transfers are the only way to reach Bandos.

Bandos Maldives is located only 10 kilometres (6.2 miles) north of Malé, the capital of the Maldives.

Your Arrival at Malé Airport (MLE)

Upon arriving at Malé Airport (Velana International), you'll clear customs and proceed to the arrivals hall, where airport team members will be waiting in the terminal area, holding a sign with the resort name to greet and escort you to the speedboat.

If you have any trouble locating the representative, you can visit Counter Number 2 in Zone A for assistance. The team will also provide help with your luggage if needed.

Speedboat Transfer to Bandos Maldives

Upon arrival in Malé, there may be a brief waiting period of up to 30 minutes. Your airport guide will assist you in finding a comfortable area to wait during this time.

Once the speedboat is ready, your representative will help with your belongings and guide you to the shared speedboat heading to Bandos.

The speedboat journey takes approximately 15 minutes and offers comfortable seating. Life jackets are available for both guests and crew, though wearing them is not mandatory during the transfer. Resort staff will handle the loading and unloading of your luggage.
