OBLU Xperience Ailafushi is located approximately 13 kilometres (8.5 miles) north of Malé, the capital of the Maldives.
Your Arrival at Malé Airport (MLE)
Upon arriving at Malé Airport (Velana International), you will clear customs and enter the arrivals hall, where a resort representative holding a sign with the resort's name will greet you.
They will escort you to a designated waiting area for your speedboat transfer and assist with your luggage if needed.
Speedboat Transfer to OBLU Xperience Ailafushi
Upon arrival in Malé, there may be a waiting period of up to 90 minutes, though it is often shorter. Your airport representative will assist you with your belongings and guide you to a shared speedboat heading to Ailafushi. This speedboat is separate from the one used for the Adult-Only sister resort, Lobigili, which is located in the same lagoon.
The speedboat, equipped with comfortable seating, takes approximately 15 minutes for the journey. Life jackets are available for guests and crew, though they are not mandatory during the transfer.
Resort staff will take care of loading and unloading your luggage, and the speedboat transfer is available 24 hours a day, scheduled to align with guests' flight arrivals.
