How much is food at Reethi Beach?

Food at Reethi Beach Resort starts at about $75 per person per day if you've booked bed & breakfast only. For other package some or all of this cost will already be covered.

As of 2023 dinner at the Rehendi buffet restaurant is $55 per adult and lunch is $35, but you'll often pay less than this by booking a meal plan in advance such as half-board, full-board or all-inclusive.

The Moodhu Bar is a great alternative for a lighter lunch and half-board guests. It offers mains for $15-$25 plus a selection of starters ($10-$15) and deserts ($5-$15).

Reethi Beach also offers two special options for dinner.

The Saima Garden offers a choice of set menus for $79 per person ($149 for the 'Lobster Sensation'). Rates are discounted by 15% for guests on half-board or higher meal plans as they won't be taking dinner in the main restaurant.

Reethi Grill offers a la carte dining with mains starting at $15, but the real highlight here is choosing seafood or meat for the grill which is charged by weight. There are several seafood options ranging from local catch of the day at $12 per 100g up to langoustines and Maldivian lobster at $18 per 100g. Steaks are available for $30-$70.

Premium All Inclusive guests can dine at any restaurant they want as part of their meal plan with no additional costs, though a few of the most expensive dishes such as lobster are excluded from the plan.

How much do drinks cost at Reethi Beach?

For those drinking water and soft drinks only and working to a strict budget it's possible to spend as little as $10-$15 per person per day. Most guests opt for an All Inclusive meal plan which covers all their drinks during their stay including alcohol.

Drinks ordered outside of a meal plan typically cost $3-$6 for soft drinks and $8-$10 for alcoholic drinks.

  • Soft drinks are around $5
  • Cocktails are typically $10
  • House wine starts at $9 for a glass or $32 for the bottle
  • The premium wine list is concentrated around the $50-$80 mark

Drinking water is provided for all guests in their villa and replaced daily. Water at restaurants and bars is included on the 'All Inclusive' and 'Premium' meal plans or $3 per litre for guests outside all-inclusive packages. Tea, coffee and fruit juices are included for all guests at breakfast.
